Applications
The Hali-Brite L-849 Runway End Identification Light (REIL) consists of two omnidirectional or unidirectional strobe lights on both sides of a runway to provide a visual marker of the approach end of the runway.

  • ETL certified to the requirements of FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5345-51
  • All components, except the flash tube, are warranted for 2 years from day of shipment
  • The flash tube is warranted for 5 years
  • Omnidirectional models
  • Unidirectional models
  • Voltage operated models
    • 120 Vac 60 Hz
    • 240 Vac 60 Hz
  • Constant current driven (6.6 amps) models
  • 3-step or 5-step CCR 50/60 Hz
  • Operates directly from the output of an L-830-10 (6.6/6.6) isolation transformer or an L-830-11 (20/6.6)
  • No power adapter required
  • True RMS current sensing
    • This unique feature allows the units to follow the Master Unit
    • Adjustments required ONLY in the Master Unit, all other units will follow regardless of the number of units in the system
    • Units are not affected by changing loads on the CCR
  • Common Timing Board in ALL types of power supplies
  • Light location is field programmable
  • Flash rate is field programmable
  • Only 2 latches to gain access to power supply. No tools required
  • 50 Hz available on request.
